YC Update Numba ONE
My YC so far:
Friday: 6:30pm - 11:00pm
- YC Alberta Kick Off
- Woship (Tim Hughes) (this was super good, mostly because he’s not LEADING worship, he’s worshiping with us, and just so happens to be the loudest)
- Speaker: John Bevere (BEH-VEER, not beaver ;] this guy had a good point: to have a relationship with God means that you draw near to him, then he draws near to you (James 4:8). YOU need to draw near first. He also talked about fearing God (I dont mean be scared of him, I mean revere him) and how it’s important because not even us humans like to be disrespected, so God especially doesn’t like it. I mostly didn’t like how he went about talking about these things)
- Skillet Concert (Yes, they named their band after a frying pan, and even though that’s a little bit lame, they totaly ROCKED MY EARS OFF! They freekin pwn man, such good stage proformance and man can that guy scream ^__^ yay! (I like screaming in music, for those who don’t know.) You totally missed out if you didn’t come to YC. There’s just one problem…the fact that they did The Older I Get straight before The Last Night. For those of you who know, these two songs are no good for someone like me trying to hold themselves together at a concert. But it totally PWNED!!)
